Creativity comes in many forms. It's making a recipe that you and your family loves and wants to try over and over again. It's making a craft as a gift or for your home. It's writing a poem or a story or a song. Don't limit your creativity.
I read this quote on pinterest and it is the inspiration to my blog:
The Creative Adult is the Child that Survived.
I truly believe that. I want to let my imagination be as a child's. able to think up anything. and then do it.
I got these letter cutouts from Crafty Wood Cutouts! I love that place. I happened to have a gift certificate and a coupon so i got this baby pretty cheap!
Here's how to make one yourself!
- First, I chose my colors. Orange and light blue with brown (colors i'm starting to do my LR in).
- Then I picked out my paper and thanks to having some fun colors and JoAnn's 5/$1 sale I got it pretty cheap.
- I painted all the sides brown and traced and cut out my letters.
- Modge podge the paper to the Letters
- And tie a ribbon around a letter!
- Put it up in your home!
This project cost me about $20 since I had some of the materials and the sales I got. If you couldn't find any sales and had none of the materials, it would probably cost you about $20!
Now that I've finally started this blog, I'll try to post more regularly and also take pictures during the process!
thanks for joining me on my creative journey!
